Space Hoppers perform a crucial role in the two-year renovation of a de Havilland Comet 4C at the National Museum of Flight in East Fortune, Scotland, in June. The children’s toy was being used to temporarily block up the empty window frames to prevent rain coming in after the panes were removed to recondition the seals
